At first look, it may seem that the iPhone 15 just seems like the iPhone 14. Surprisingly, the iPhone 15 is a significant improvement over the iPhone 14. There are many things to discuss, from the updated design and Dynamic Island to the new processor and USB-C connector on the bottom. So before you decide on whether the iPhone 15’s upgrade is worth buying, check out our comparison for the 2 models below.

Camera

Apple increased the primary lens’s megapixel count to 48 from the iPhone 14’s original 13, a fourfold increase. Since you can shoot full-blown 48-megapixel shots (if you want, that is), you can capture images with more accurate colors, better nighttime performance, and clearer details. Additionally, a highly useful feature is the ability to zoom in while maintaining quality by using the center 12 megapixels of the sensor.

The iPhone 14’s camera system, on the other hand, is considerably simpler. It sports two 12-megapixel cameras: a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 12-megapixel primary camera, both of which were carried over from the iPhone 13. Despite not being the most powerful cameras Apple sells, photo and video quality is consistently good, and you’ll probably be pleased with the results.

If you’re on the look out for a better photo experience, you can opt for the iPhone 15.

Conclusion

Although it’s too early to decide, it’s quite evident what you’re getting for your money if you switch to these new phones. The 48MP main camera, the Dynamic Island, a speedier CPU, and an updated exterior are all included in the entry-level variants. If you spend more money on an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, you’ll get even better cameras, the strength of the new A17 Pro chip, and the new customisable Action Button, which may or may not be useful.

Thus, it is probably best to wait until the iPhone 15 if you want the greatest camera, performance, display, and conveniences like USB-C. The iPhone 14 series, however, is and will continue to be a fantastic alternative if you need something a little less expensive.
