Warranty Policy

iRent mo provides the following warranty policy for their items. Please be aware that the warranty may differ depending on item condition (used or brand new) as well as on parts included in any specific package. Please read for further details. Please make sure to review the following details before filing for warranty, return, or refund.

GENERAL RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

  1. Replacement of any item due to “change of mind” is not allowed. Only defective goods can be returned or exchanged (processed for warranty).
  2. If the item is defective, kindly send us an email at hello@irentmo.com and a Customer Service Representative will get in touch with you to investigate and provide you with instructions on the matter.
  3. Please note that the item must be in its original delivery condition and sent back to us with prepaid shipping charges and insured for the full purchase price, with all original documentation and sales documents (proof of purchase). Shipping to our locations as well as the cost of return will be fully shouldered by the customer.

GENERAL ITEM WARRANTY

  1. Guarantee is given to customer’s purchased unit by the manufacturer usually for any repair or replacement of parts for a stated time period and conditions. Please refer to the specific warranty details below for new or 2nd hand items, as well as for specific hardware type or brand.
  2. Kindly ensure to keep the Official documents and proof of purchase on file for warranty purposes.
  3. In case the item purchased online has a problem, customer may contact the Customer Service Hotline at (+63) 939-505-6914 or email us at hello@irentmo.com for proper instructions.

RETURN, REFUND, & EXCHANGE DETAILS

Cancellation of order:
If your order has not been packed or shipped, you may still cancel it. Send us an email with your order number at hello@irentmo.com, chat with us on our official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/irentmoph or call our hotline (+63) 939-505-6914 immediately.

Policy regarding order returns:
We only accept returned products for the reasons below:
Incorrectly delivered item
Defective item
Damaged item
*Other than the reasons above, we will not entertain warranty or return queries.

Policy regarding receiving damaged / defective / wrong item:
We apologize for any damaged / defective / incorrect items. In cases like these, please report the damaged (physical damage, dents, scratches) or incorrect (wrong) item within 24 hours to our customer service team via chat on our Facebook page (at https://www.facebook.com/irentmoph), or call our hotline (+63) 939-505-6914. Also send a photo (and/or video) of the physical appearance of the product and packaging box to hello@irentmo.com. Please include the order number and your name during your query.
Please report the defective item within 7 days after receiving your order. Our customer service agent will get in touch and arrange your return request soon.

Incomplete order or missing items:
Chat with our customer support team on our Facebook page (at https://www.facebook.com/irentmoph), or call our hotline (+63) 939-505-6914. You may also email us your concern at hello@irentmo.com. Make sure to indicate your name and order number in your email/query. Our customer service agent will look into it and have the missing item delivered at the earliest convenience.

Refund turnaround time:
Processing for refund through credit card, over-the-counter and Cash on Delivery transactions will be within 15-30 business working days depending on the selected payment method.
For Cash on Delivery and GCash payments, refund will be subject for check releasing or GCash disbursement. Our customer service agent will coordinate with you regarding this.

WARRANTY FOR BRAND NEW COMPUTER PRODUCTS

iRent mo provides 7 days replacement and 1 year service warranty for brand new laptops and system units (CPU desktop or all in one). The standard 1 year warranty covers all major parts except for the following: iRent mo only provides 7 days replacement and 1 month warranty for PSU. Also, iRent mo only provides 7 days replacement and 6 months service warranty for brand new monitors and brand new hard disc drives or HDDs.

  1. No original receipt and complete package/set inclusion (box, manuals, etc.) – No exchange/replacement.
  2. Change of mind is not a basis for unit replacement. Product compatibility is the buyer’s responsibility.
  3. Misuse, mishandling, abuse, water/liquid damage, improper handling, and any damage to the unit are not covered by this warranty.
  4. Only the hardware is under warranty.
  5. Any of the following: removal, replacement/changing, modifying of the genuine or installed Operating System will not be covered by this warranty.
  6. Defects due to 3rd party software, malware, ransomware, virus, or the likes will not be covered by this warranty.
  7. For laptops or systems that do not come with a free licensed Windows OS, we install a Trial version of Windows; you may opt to purchase from us a product key to activate a legitimate Windows OS (see shop).
  8. A corrupted operating system is not covered by this warranty. Please reformat and reinstall using legitimate product keys.
  9. For laptops or systems that do not come with a free Microsoft Office Suite, we install a Trial version of MS Office; you may opt to purchase from us a product key to activate a legitimate MS Office Suite of apps (see shop).
  10. Trial versions of Windows OS will show a watermark and will have some limitations (this is normal). Trial versions of MS Office will not let you save and/or edit.
  11. We do not install video editing software, and other 3rd party software – unless provided by the brand/model as a trial or full version.
  12. Damage caused by physical modifications like the installation of new parts will not be covered by this warranty.
  13. Only parts that came with the set/package purchased from us will be covered by this warranty.
  14. Once the warranty period lapses, the device is no longer covered – regardless, even if the discovered issue is considered a factory defect.
  15. All shipping fees to avail of the warranty will be shouldered by the customer.
  16. Provincial customers will have to utilize LBC to ship the item to iRent mo and would need to pay for crates and padding (required by LBC) to secure the electronic equipment during shipment.
  17. SERVICE WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE PARTS, and is subjected to corresponding CHARGES.
  18. Repair duration is within 1 month (depending on the issue – software of hardware).

WARRANTY FOR USED COMPUTER PRODUCTS

iRent mo provides 1 month service warranty for used laptops, system units (CPU desktop or all in one), and monitors.

Please take note of the following when buying used laptops, system units, all-in-ones, monitors, and the like:

  • Used monitors not under a set/package may or may not include a power cable and an output cable. These can be bought separately from hardware or computer stores.
  • Used monitors that come bundled with a computer set/package comes with a power cord and output cable (VGA, HDMI, DVI, or any compatible cable).
  • Expect visual wear and tear; there will be scuffs and scratches, depending on the specific unit.
  • Expect plastic parts to have a “polished”/sleek shimmer due to usage. This is not oil; non-PBT (non-polybutylene terephthalate) plastics are not resistant to stains caused by prolonged use.
  • The battery life of used laptops will not be 100% anymore. Expect reduced operating times when unplugged.
  • Aside from the indicated OS (Windows or Mac) and Office suite, installed software or apps will vary depending on the unit.

REPLACEMENT/SERVICE WARRANTY NOTES FOR USED PRODUCTS

USED Items Replacement/Service warranty notes/specifics:

  1. No original receipt and complete package/set inclusion (box, manuals, etc.) – No exchange/replacement.
  2. Change of mind is not a basis for unit replacement. Product compatibility is the buyer’s responsibility.
  3. Misuse, mishandling, abuse, water/liquid damage, improper handling, and any damage to the unit are not covered by this warranty.
  4. For USED DESKTOP COMPUTERS, only the system unit hardware is under warranty. The free keyboard and mouse are not covered since they are freebies.
  5. For USED LAPTOP COMPUTERS, the LED/LCD SCREEN and the KEYBOARD + TRACKPAD are not covered by the 1-month service warranty. Please inspect the unit within the 7-day replacement warranty to avoid any hassles.
  6. Any of the following: removal, replacement/changing, modifying of the genuine or installed Operating System will not be covered by this warranty.
  7. Defects due to 3rd party software, malware, ransomware, virus, or the likes will not be covered by this warranty.
  8. For laptops or systems that do not come with a free licensed Windows OS, we install a Trial version of Windows; you may opt to purchase from us a product key to activate a legitimate Windows OS (see shop).

  17. Provincial customers will have to utilize LBC to ship the item to iRent mo and would need to pay for crates and padding (required by LBC) to secure the electronic equipment during shipment.
  18. We DO NOT PROVIDE REFUND for used electronics bought; we only offer a change of unit with an equal or higher price of the purchased unit.
  19. SERVICE WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE PARTS, and is subjected to corresponding CHARGES.
  20. Repair duration is within 1 month (depending on the issue – software of hardware).

REPLACEMENT/SERVICE WARRANTY NOTES FOR BRAND NEW CELLPHONES, TABLETS, & APPLE PRODUCTS

iRent mo offers brand new, sealed, and non-activated cellphones, tablets, & Apple products. The warranty for these products can only be claimed through the manufacturer. Therefore, Apple products’ warranty claims should be claimed at Apple; Xiaomi products’ warranty claims should be claimed at Xiaomi, and so on.

  1. For warranty claims, please always refer to your product manufacturer’s official page.

Apple Products Warranty Documentation

The Apple Limited Warranty covers your iPhone and Apple-branded accessories against manufacturing defects for one year from the date you bought your product. The Apple Limited Warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law.

Apple’s warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorized modifications. See the warranty for complete details. You can check your coverage status online and update your proof-of-purchase information if there’s an error in Apple’s records. If Apple’s warranty or consumer law don’t cover your repair, you’ll pay out-of-warranty fees.

Please take note that depending on the variation of your purchased Apple product – the warranty claim method may differ.

Apple iPhone products with NTC approval – warranty can be claimed at any Power Mac Center even without a receipt. Apple iPhone products which are US, HK, or Japan variants – warranty claim procedure would first require that you contact Apple to begin warranty claim procedure; from there, follow the process indicated by the Apple customer care representative.

Other Apple products (non-iPhone & non-cellular products) have Apple Global/International warranty and thus warranty can be claimed at any Power Mac Center even without a receipt.

Discontinued Apple products are not covered by Apple’s 1-Year Limited Warranty. They may or may not be covered by store warranty; kindly clarify before purchase.
